The Catholic church, surprisingly, is off on it's doctrine again... God new us before he shaped us in the womb. People can make up all the so-called theological theories they want, and I don't want to right a thesis here, but when you cut off the conceived babies life, you kill the baby. What is the debate? Robert1824 is just brainwashed, and the arguments even sound logically inept. The mothers life is not more valuable than the life of that baby, and if you disagree, are there any other people who's life is less valuable to you? Other age groups? Races? Nationalities? Class? If you don't value a precious, innocent baby in the womb, your moral compass is jacked up and is the broken lens from which you look at the rest of life. Result?

Imagine for a moment that your home is invaded by thugs who will do harm to your family, or perhaps even kill them. But then one of them takes a look at your three children and offers you a sinister Faustian bargain: pick one to die and the others will be allowed to live.

Would you helplessly choose one of your own children to die so that the other two may live? Would you trust a person whose moral conscience is so far gone to even offer such a deal to live up to his end of it?
