Just like President Obama has been shamelessly lying about the situations leading up to these attacks? Just like he shamelessly still refuses to own up to his mistakes? I can handle a President who makes mistakes. We're all human. What I can't handle is a President who will do anything and everything to avoid owning up to them. That is I inexcusable and is what Katie is pointing out here. There are consequences to an arrogance so strong it will throw others under the bus in order to avoid taking the hit themselves.

Just because she isn't living in poverty doesn't mean she can't understand itor that she is then disqualified from trying to help. Every movie star in Hollywood is eager to give an opinion yet I don't see any of them living in squalor or being attacked for not working (and I highly doubt their job is tougher than a stay at home mom's) nor are they being told they can't have an opinion because they aren't poor. Such ludicrous logic.

Obama doesn't work in health care. So how should he be able to say what our country needs as far as health care goes? by your logic no one in politics has a right to help others unless they have personal experience in the area. She may not be poor, but that doesn't mean she should then not try to help those less advantaged. Quite the opposite really. Her follow up statements didn't help. It is not only women of means that stay home. Some sacrifice a great deal both in time and financially in order to do so. Cable, fancy cell phones with data plans, nice cars all went to the wayside so that I could stay home. I have yet to regret the decision.
the first three are frills, the last two you would have with or without kids. Yes kids are expensive, and yes some moms have to work. but kids can tell the difference between moms who have to leave them but wish they didn't and moms who want expensive frills rather than sacrifice to stay home. The vast majority of Americans need to learn the value of a little self depravation...maybe think of others instead of themselves for a change.

When people ask why I stay home, it'll them I'm a genius so no one else is more qualified to watch them. :)

because the politicians on the left understand struggle so well. Universal health care will be a burden on the working class who have to pay for it, putting mre pressure on single income families. As for reproductive rights, you mean the right to kill the children you don't want? I am not a supporter of nixing the providing of contraceptions, but those who do are because they believe (mistakenly) that it is like abortion. I know no one on the right saying she is a posterior woman...they're just peeved at what Rosen said about staying at home. Yes she has more money, but not all mom's who stay at home do. This is why Rosen apologized in the first place. Not because she changed her mind, but because she knew she had worded it poorly.
