As far as the draft goes, we would not have won the Civil War or WWII without it. There are situations when there will not be enough volunteers to get the job done. One day when we finally have to deal with Iran, it will take a general mobilization to provide enough ground troops go in, find every site and destroy them. Our current Army and Marine Corps could also not handle another Korean war without calling every National Guard division. We should actually be like Israel or Switzerland and have a universal draft for all men and women. The Armed Forces get what they need and the rest go into community service for two years.

President Obama and Sandra Fluke both callthemselves lawyers and “reproductive rights activists” without giving you any indication that they understand the Constitution or basic biology.

I’m not a lawyer, but I understand the Constitution. I’m not a reproductive rights activist, but Iaced Biology 101. So I can tell you that Sandra and Barack are wrong when they classify women in combat and contraception as “women’s issues.”

Military combat and contraception coverage are not women’s issues. They are freedom issues and freedom is just as important to men as it is to women.
