Race has nothing to do with this case. Race is brought into many situations, when all we're talking about is someone of African Amercan race has something happen that is undesirable. Leave race out of discussions.
It is reported that the shooter had threatened the teacher he was chasing and the students reported this. You wonder why one of the students hadn't had the sense to report this to the police. A threat to a teacher is not some idle thought, what is wrong with the students who knew this and didn't say something to a policeman?
Why the discussion about high costs to implement rules that would save lives? The derailment under discussion has to do with the failure of the engineer to be alert at the time of the derailment. All this talk about implementing costly "fixes" is just so much "talk".
Jamie, there's a big difference between carrying your weapon into church and the NFL refusing the advertisement. You're reaching to defend the NFL in this case! Admit that the NFL is being clearly anti-gun!

The Ugly End of the Duke Lacrosse Story

I see no one has mentioned that nearly all the Duke professors and the Duke president at the time of this fiasco wrote a public letter condemning and criminalizing the Duke players. This was not their job and was done only because of the feminist influence in the professorial ranks. Even after the Duke players were exonerated, the professorss/and or president never apologized for their unprofessional cunduct and mean-spirited letter..

And, President Obama had experience? What was done and said about Palin was pure and simple lying and nothing more.
Funny that Noth finds conservatives are racist. If he knew history, he would realize that during the 40's and 50's, actors and directors in the movie industry who were liberals were discriminated against because of their liberality and frankly, their communistic and socialistic leanings. Back then, the leaders of the entertainment industry were conservatives to the hilt. Now, we've got idiots like Noth think the world is liberal! Not so.
Mr. Hanson, who would object to children remaining on their parent's health insurance until age 26? Well, 99% of parents should object. When you as an adult became eligible for health insurance, you didn't remain on your parent's policy! Of course, as "adults", we took care of ourselves. In today's permissive society, with "children" in their 20's and even 30's living at home, sponging off their parents, it was only natural that the call came out to have children remain on health policies to age 26. Another sign of the failure of the American family unit.
