burger king does list their calories, and this is helpful. but the trouble is those cardboard sleeves for french fries can hold just the allotted amount, or more can be packed in. a pizza cook might pile on more pepperoni. another point, the government is too trusting that people even know how to add these days. a wendy single is 400 calories. small french fries are 330. at this point the customer is confused. how many calories? duh, i don't know. dieting is a discipline requiring great effort. for ice cream i weigh the carton before and after to figure out the calories. this requires a calculator. what 300 lb slum sloot is going to be motivated to do all that? i hate to say it but it but it all gets down to self respect.
