if you have a fever you're sick. if you're gay you have mental imbalances. a fever or being gay or steam coming out from under your hood are indications of trouble. i think most gays are aware of this and purposely live very circumspect lives so that they can be trusted as parents, teachers or even neighbors. most gays i have encountered are like this. the guy across the hall from me, i didn't even know he was gay until i read in the paper he was beaten and kicked. the next day i saw him in the hall with his bruises and black eyes like nothing had happened, and you got respect grit like that. but there are also gays who just give in to their misguided circuitry, and are emotional, flighty, and unstable. we can't franchise them.

One significant development in the recent election was votes in four states approving same sex marriage initiatives. Until now, all previous state referenda to approve same sex marriage – 32 of them - failed.

The Wall Street Journal editorial page – a place where conservatives usually turn for intellectual capital – saw this as cause for celebration.

According to the Journal, marriage definition should come from voters, not from court orders. Americans, they argue, have “shown themselves more than capable of changing their views on gay marriage the democratic way.”
