"Until the media honestly reports our stance on issues we will never win. " That's one of the most important points to all this. Ironically, the only entity that could successfully expose this is...well...the media. Even journalists of the more conservative leaning media outlets have to be careful about it, lest they discredit themselves, anger their ownership, lose ad revenue, etc... Of course, if we had an informed public (or at least one where common sense is in the majority) the present media / propaganda complex wouldn't be able to get nearly the traction. Ultimately, you're right, though; most of the arguments and statements I here from the average voter these days right right off the network news.

How do you have a thoughtful discussion with someone who quotes Lawrence O'Donnell, or Rachel Maddow? You would have to proceed from an imaginary starting point based upon numerous false premises and outright distortions and fabrications.
