According to the Chinese news service Global Times, the woman in the photos is 23-year-old Feng Jianmei from the province of Ankang, who was “forced to the hospital and given an injection to kill her unborn baby on June 2 after her family failed to pay a 40,000-yuan ($6,320) fine, according to her family.” Although authorities in the Zhenping district, where the abortion was carried out, claimed that the abortion was voluntary, The French Press Agency (AFP) says that it has confirmed with a source close to the family that the abortion was forced on the couple, and that the photos are authentic. Feng’s husband states that she was forced to sign papers granting permission for the abortion, according to the Global Times.

well pro abortionists? this is fubarack paying for this with American tax dollars

We're used to MSNBC's Toure saying outlandish things, but his latest commentary in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade is by far the worst. During a segment last week, Toure went on what he called an abortion rant in which he thanked God and country abortion was there to "save him" at a time when taking care of a baby and becoming a father would have been inconvenient for him. He also refers to abortion as a "safety net."
