In the workers' paradise of Venezuela, there is no toilet paper and residents must have ration cards to buy what limited food is available. SF gets away with its odd dictatorship of the proletariat for uniquely Frisco reasons, wealthy downtown business center, major gay population, quirky history and as Debra writes, the museum attraction. But, one wonders when reality will catch up, as it already has in other places run by the socialist proletariat.
