Makes as much sense as you having to obtain federal government approval for any speech other than verbal and written. These alternate forms didn't exist when the framers passed the constitution and weren't even imaginable, so obviously the First Amendment doesn't apply to these forms of mass communication. Wouldn't it be great if a government czar such as, say Rush Limbaugh, were given control over all TV, radio and Internet based communications? Gee, this is fun! Just imagine no more Liberal treasonous speech, oh and I get to determine if your speech is treason...
