I am old enough to remember the revolutionary antics of the left in the 60's and 70's but I am not quite old enough to remember the moderate or conservative Democrats from that era. I assume there were some. I am sure they viewed the radical members of their party with the same disdain the GOP establishment looks at the Tea Party today. But look what happened. The old Democrats were eventually moved out and replaced by the radical fringe. (Whom are now mainstream btw). I think the same could/should/will happen to the GOP. Tea Party "Radicals" will eventually replace the GOP moderates with Conservatives. Unfortunately this will take a generation and I will likely not be around to see it. But pay attention people! History is happening right in front of you.
