Art majors very seldom end up doing art. (Kind of like athletics at the college level, maybe one out of 100 can make it at the next level, and that is only as long as there are enough rich people who don't know anything about art but want to make others believe that they do.) The one phrase that you need to learn and learn well if you are an art major or philosophy major is: "Would you like fries with that sir (or maam, etc)?" (Quote from my only philosophy class's professor on the first day of class when he explained the practical application of philosophy in the real world from his own experience. BTW his real career where he could actually make a living was as a cabinet maker.)
