In the labor market, wages are based on relative scarcity To wit: millions of people play golf and have to pay to play, but only a hundred or so poeple on the planet play well enough to win on the PGA Tour where top money winners can bank $10 million a year. Money is just a means of keeping economic score, so changing the minimum wage has absolutely no effect on the value of work performed which is the underlying basis for wage levels.
