Oh please. Psychiatric "conditions" are included in the DSM not so clinicians can appropriately treat them, but so clinicians can do whatever they please with the patient and get reimbursed by insurance. It's all about the "correct diagnosis." Now, I wonder if that kid who shot his classmates at Arapahoe High School in Colorado last week was suffering from affluenza. He and his parents were affluent, professed Socialists and he came to school witha gun because a teacher said no to him.
