When referring to the "Accommodation" offered Cardinal Dolan from New York rebuttal was: It appears to offer second-class status to our first-class institutions in Catholic health care, Catholic education and Catholic charities. The Department of Health and Human Services offers what it calls an ‘accommodation,’ rather than accepting the fact that these ministries are integral to our church and worthy of the same exemption as our Catholic churches.” Are you comparing a 2000+ faith to one created in the 19th century? Are you comparing saving lives, Abortions, to allowing people to died, no blood transfusion? Instead how about this: Pay for your own sexual choice and allow the rest of us to keep a clean conscience. If you can't even afford your own contraception that should be your clue to abstain till you can at least afford some condoms. Here are a couple of quotes from out founding fathers: Thomas Jefferson declared: “No provision in our Constitution ought to be dearer to man than that which protects the rights of conscience against the enterprises of the civil authority.” and “Man’s duty of honoring God is precedent both in order of time and degree of obligation to the claims of civil society,” James Madison Seriously, you'll have to provide a much better argument!
