"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!" When I look at the TV news or read the newspapers, it's like looking at an outdoor drive-in movie screen. It's big and bright and tends to draw all the attention of the customers. But then, I notice some inconsistencies, some "blips" in the movie, and I begin to wonder what's going on in the projection room behind me. What are they doing? What are they going to put on next? What are they really trying to sell me? Eventually, I begin to realize that the projection in front of me is at best, only a small part of the "true story" and in fact, may be totally false. I then turn around and start peering into the projection room, to the office where the manager works, to the various "back rooms" where the real decisions are made. I've been doing this with respect to our educational system since the 70's Our educational system is in crisis. This has been clear to any "customer" who has looked around even once. Our Black brothers and sisters and many others have, in-effect been "sold down the river" by our politicians. The problem is that many...most of them don't even know it.....yet. When they discover it, hopefully soon, there will be such a political change in this nation will be shaken to its roots. THAT will be a "Fundamental Transformation" squared-and long-long overdue.
