Once again Hanson equates the civil war in Syria with the restoration of civic order in Egypt. In Egypt, the stock exchange is open, the banks are open, the airports are open. The Government has control of transportation within the country. The food markets are open. Foreign corporations are open. There are no riots, though there are peaceful demonstrations against the Muslim Brotherhood. Hanson doesn't acknowledge that the current Egyptian government, acting with its police power has restored public order and confidence. In Hanson's world, the domestic violence could overflow and affect Israel. What domestic violence is he writing about? Hanson would be well served to write about the situation in Egypt as it actually exists, and not some fantasy.
