Compare the president to Prime Minister Netanyahu. On Thursday four rockets launched Lebanon hit northern Israel. Netanyahu issued a statement: “We are deploying a wide range of means, both defensive and preventative,” he said in a statement. “We are acting responsibly. Anyone who attacks us, or tries to attack us, should know that we will get him.” The statement was followed up with military action.
Earlier this year, the President of the Republic of Korea didn't even wait for an incident to make a change in the way the ROK does business with the DPRK. Back on April 1, 2013 President Park Geun-hye told the ROK's Minister of Defense and senior generals of the ROKA that any provocation against the ROK would be met with decisive military action without regard to political considerations. The same day the ROK changed its rules of engagement to allow local units to respond immediately to attacks, rather than waiting for permission from Seoul.
Here in the USA we should amend our Constitution so that people such as Park and Netanyahu would have the opportunity to run our country as well as they have run theirs.
