By remaining silent about this shooting, Obama, along with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are proving themselves to be true racists. They all had plenty to say about Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman, where is a similar outrage over this act of senseless violence? Or does outrage only apply if the person who is shot is Black and the shooter is White or Hispanic? This double standard is totally and completely unacceptable. Either something is wrong or it's not! And if it's wrong, it's wrong in each and every case, regardless of who the victim(s) and perpetrator(s) are. If Obama and company (Sharpton and Jackson) can't be bothered to speak out about this shooting, then I truly believe this country now lacks any sort of moral compass, and there really is no right or wrong any more. And if that's the case, then anything goes, and we can expect to see more of these senseless acts of violence in the days and weeks to come. I'm not sure this is the kind of country I want to live in, so maybe I need to think about moving to Canada or England. It's certainly something to think about.
