Every president swears to "protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." Every member of Congress, and every member of the federal Judiciary swears to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States." Every U.S. military officer swears to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States." Section 4, Article 2 of the U.S. Constitution sets forth "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors" as grounds for impeachment and removal from office. In our Republic, there is *NO* higher crime for a federal officeholder than to undermine the Constitution of the United States. Period. It's time to draft articles of impeachment. Now.
