What solution would have? The unemployed poor already get free medical care; the rich can buy any medical care they want, and the employed middle class usually have insurance. The ones who need the most help, the employed poor, are the ones who will be the most hurt by Obamacare. Their employers are cutting their hours, and the lowly employees are facing fines or jail time if they can't afford the highly regulated insurance policies demanded by Obamacare.
One thing the pro-Obamacare crowd don't seem to consider: when a government program costs $x at the people level, it's going to cost the government $5x to fund it. That's because 80% of a government program is overhead. Therefore, when your doctor gets $100 ($1x) for an office visit, that means that it's going to cost the taxpayer that amount plus $400 ($4x for overhead) to "administer" the funds to get the payment to your doctor. That doctor visit is going to cost the taxpayer $500! Now take that and extrapolate throughout the entire healthcare system. Hair-raising, isn't it? Add to that the huge percentage of doctors who are retiring rather than dealing with Obamacare, and many others who now are refusing to take any patients with government insurance (like Medicare or Medicaid) or even any insurance at all because of the hassles. This will make getting ANY healthcare far more difficult for everyone.
Sometimes there are no answers other than to make matters worse, and Obamacare is one of them.
