Whether or not the Post's recent slide is an symptom of their constantly backing the wrong political horse or if it is just the most-recent example in a long historical line of buggy-whip manufacturers going broke will become clearer in the future. Maybe newspapers are dead. Maybe Liberalism/ Progressivism is dead, or dying. Maybe both. We'll have to wait for the autopsy results and that may take a while.
