I agree solely on the basis of my own experience with Social in-Security hounding my husband-to-be and I to stay Legally unmarried. They penalize the ones who Do get married. We had a child out of wedlock (16 yrs now) who remains in the system to this day. I still call his father (deceased now) my late "husband" out of respect even though they made damn sure we were both screwed one way or the other. The whole system is corrupt from start to finish and only pushes people further down once they get involved in their Tar-baby policies!! I'm still hurting from the obscene policies that held me back thus far. It's better not to get in the system to begin with!
