Obama won't shut this down, Pat. He needs to stir the racial pot and maybe even have riots (such as the ones in Oakland and Los Angeles) to energize his base for the 2014 election. This persecution of Zimmerman is one of the blackest days in judicial history since the railroading of the Jew, Leo Frank, back in 1913. The difference is that the jury in this case was not ruled by the hostility of the mob outside while the jury in the Leo Frank case was. And innocent man was convicted and later lynch in about 1913. At least, the jury in 2013 was made of better stuff and found Zimmerman not guilty.
