Ms. McAulay, probably because she is young, suffers from an undeveloped understanding of marriage. She was right to support traditional marriage; she is wrong to flip flop. Real marriage -- i.e., traditional marriage -- is the union of a man and a woman for the procreation and raising of children in the most desirable family structure. Life's experiences teach what a great thing a strong family is for dealing with life. There is really no such thing such as "same sex" marriage. Homosexual couplings are biologically sterile, do not provide the natural father and mother model roles for children and are not stable. This may sound old fashioned, but it is right.
