Well, I recall one good legislation that passed during Bill Clinton's Administration. . . The Americans with Disabilities Act. And B.C. was a Democrat as well. Although Social Security and Medicare were originally meant to be Good for the People. Maybe if those programs had been written with a sunset clause, they'd been even better. However, I'd never eliminate Social Security Disability Payments A friend was born with Cerebral Palsy, and although he's able to work, he'd be lost without his monthly check. If I had one wish for all who truly need S.S.D.I. payments, it's that they'd be healed, and no longer need the aid; And that none would ever be born with it or any other such problems. Until that happens, S.S.D.I must be preserved for those who need it. The regular S.S.I [retirement] program should be phased out, after the baby boomers receive what they've paid into it. If that's possible.
