That comment caught my attention as well. Sorry, but if you support "comprehensive immigration reform" (AKA amnesty) then you are not a fiscal conservative. The cost to our treasury of adding tens of millions of impoverished low-skilled workers from the 3rd world to our copious benefits and entitlements is a fiscal time-bomb. Heritage says 6.2 Trillion -- and that is extremely conservative because it only calculates the costs of making illegals legal, leaving out the costs of the markedly increased levels of legal immigration from the 3rd world.
Given what I am hearing about Gomez' positions, it's just as well that Markey won.
