Still not sufficient reason to redefine marriage to suit a group of people who want special protection under the law based on sexual preference. Why not change the tax code instead of dividing the country and calling those opposed to same sex marriage "haters?" If we changed the tax code, we'd even provide rights to the millions of opposite sex couples who choose not to get married, yet are treated unequally under the tax code. The civil rights argument is insufficient to promote same sex marriage unless you remove those taxes from all unmarried couples.
