Nathan Hale, William Wallace, Joan of Arc, Thomas More, countless early Christians...
and Jesus! Those who gave their lives for a cause are inspirational to most of us, regardless of our own faith. How is it possible we've gotten to a point where mention of Jesus is verboten? The very odd thing about this is that when we try so hard to avoid anything related to or resembling religion in the public square we disown our entire culture. Read Mark Twain and Abraham Lincoln and you'll find that 90% of all the best known quotes come from the Bible.
Those who insist that it's improper to even allude to religion in a public speech at a public venue will regret their decision as we continue down the path we're on to cultural incoherence and chaos. We're are going to resume the "natural" way of life, which is to say we are becoming a primitive tribe. All the progress (ironic, isn't it?) of the last two centuries will be lost as we embrace the culture of the Kardashian era. To get a glimpse of your future just look at inner-city gangs. It's right out of The Lord of the Flies.
Thank you, Progressives!
