This is a non-issue. The Associated Press is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Party. The politicalization of the DOJ makes it an adjunct of the DNC. This nothing more than one arm of a corporation looking at the phone records of another arm of the same corporation. Private companies monitor and review their employees phone records all of the time, just as prison wardens monitor the phone conversations of the inmates. While the employees of the AP work for the DNC while thinly and poorly disguised as "journalists," they are merely indentured DNC servants. Thus, a non-issue.
