The real question that needs to be asked, and one that I have not heard, is why did this happen? Why was an Embassy left under-staffed, under-armed, and under-protected in a highly inflamed part of the world. The locals knew that the Embassy's protection had all but been pulled out of the area, and she sat there like a deer in the headlights.
Why would one of our brightest ambassadors be placed in an area without the proper protection expected for someone of his stature? A guess the 800 pound gorilla question that needs to be asked is who [whom] did the ambassador tick-off to be assigned there? Once assigned he was [basically] alone as the protection he needed at that facility was pulled, so who did he make mad… BHO, HRC… who?
No-one had ever heard of Benghazi, yet someone with ambassador Steven's track record was assigned there?
This was a high-level "hit"! Mr. Stevens did something wrong, and had to pay the ultimate price. I believe that if the dust ever settles on this, we will find out that Stevens ruffled the wrong feathers and got assigned to the wrong end of the earth, and all hell broke loose because it was as if someone broadcast on Libyan TV: "Its open season at the US Embassy… meeting there (wink, wink) at midnight--BE THERE!"
Let's look at the underlying reason this happened. Even our own cops have to have motive along with the crime and witnesses. We have the crime, we have witnesses, what was the motive behind leaving Stevens exposed like that? That's what needs to be answered by this administration!
