Incompetence in this case led to the deaths of 4 Americans, raising it to the level of criminal negligence. Martin Dempsey, Hillary Clinton, Leon Pannetta, and Obama keep telling us that there wasn't time to send help to our people in Benghazi. That begs the question of how did they know there wasn't time, as they could not have known how long the attack was going to last, once it had started. They didn't know if it was going to last 2 hours, or 4 hours, or 8 or 10 or 12 hours. We had F16s two hours away in Aviano Italy, AC130 gunships with sophisticated targeting less than two hours away at NAS Sigonella on Sicily, and Spec Ops troops in Croatia about three to four hours away from Benghazi. And key is the fact that we had trained SEALs in the persons of Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, who had the training and equipment to direct close-air support and rescue efforts from the ground, on-scene and in contact. Dempsey, Clinton, Panetta, and Obama had the duty and obligation to at least try to send help, working under the assumption that they did not know how long the attacks were going to last. The fact that they didn't even try makes them indictable for four counts of Criminally Negligent Homicide.
