I'd have to agree. Especially about "vet and elect better representatives. . . ."
And *now* is the time. At least here in Pennsylvania, we're in primary season, when the unknown, beginner politicians are running for school board, town council, water authority board, etc. This is the time when one citizen, willing to cough up $50 to help with funding, willing to stand on the public street passing out literature, willing to put out yard signs, willing to write to the local paper -- one citizen can make a difference to help a good candidate get elected, and to keep the simpleton, junior-demagogues out.
But you & i have to *do* it; not sit around and blog about it.
