I really feel like something more could have been done to prevent this tragedy. I mean, for such a well known event worldwide, to only have swept the area once with dogs and for there to not be more police on hand just seems like poor planning to me. Granted, hindsight is 20-20. But when you have lunatics out there stuffing pressure cookers full of nails and ball bearings, you do need to be extra cautious. I also think that Williams is right in saying that the only way to truly combat this most recent enemy of terrorism is head on, showing strength in numbers and saying that as Americans we refuse to let something like this do anything but bring us closer together and make us stronger.
