"Right-wing," "left-wing," "socialist,"... We're talking semantics and history, which don't lend themselves to this format. As DHE said, we can't write a book.
Yet DHE insists we agree to his (her?) definitional position about Nazi Germany. The significance of this is, of course, the analogy that demagogues use to demonize political opponents. DHE never dirties his hands in that discussion, of course, except to say that both sides do it. Wow! What an epiphany!
The point he misses is that by calling some South American despots "right-wing," for example, we avoid a real discussion of policy. And DHE distinguishes him/herself by refusing to EVER engage in a discussion of policy.
