The fact is the minimum wage hasn't kept pace for inflation. It was much higher adusted for inflation in 1960. If adulsted for inflation, the minimum wage would be almost $11 an hour today. The average MW employer makes a very good profit off their MW worker. Or, is this author going to state that MW employers are less efficient then the MW employers of 1960? Even though productivvity, including in service jobs, have gone up.
