It's pretty hard for me to take seriously anyone who mentions "yellow" people at the end of his column (and, no, I don't mean people who lack courage). That being said, I think many of us count every one of those groups that conservatives find so divisive as real, patriotic Americans. Most don't view affirmative action as "preferential rights," but rather finally giving employment opportunities to groups who were shut out previously. If that's not a characterization that fits squarely within the Jackie Robinson model, I don't know what is.
