Bitoubush: “And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."” If a person is doing something that puts himself and those he cares about in jeopardy of grievous and permanent harm, is it “tolerant and loving” to pat him on the back, give him a thumbs up and wave as he goes to meet his fate? Or is it more “tolerant and loving” to say “hey, look out, you’re playing with fire”? If God’s Word is true, then it is certainly “loving” to warn, inform and educate people about the truth. There is a tremendous amount of evidence supporting the veracity and authenticity of God’s Word in the Bible. If you find the evidence convincing, then you’ve got to act — you can’t just walk away from it. That would be like taking the blue pill.
