The defacto amnesty that we now have according to Rubio is still better than the legal amnesty that he wants to enact. Rubio is dreaming if he thinks the amnestied illegals won't be receiving welfare. They'll get their welfare either through the various loopholes and exemptions scattered throughout the 850 pages of the bill or through future judicial or political action. A legal amnesty will also greatly empower and legitimize the various ethnic lobbies out there as well as spur even more illegal immigration in the future. We have a defacto amnesty right now because we have an administration that refuses to enforce the law -- why reward Obama's defacto amnesty with legitimacy and legalization?
