"The best defense is a good offense." Well this has basically been my point ever since these mass shooting have become a real life video game. But let's just take Sandy Hook as an example. Stories abound about the teachers or the principal of the school who gathered their young charges together in a classroom or closet and then willingly put themselves as first in the line of fire in the vain hope that the shooter would simply kill the adult and bypass the children. As we now know this, unfortunately, did not occur and the shooter simply went around from room to room at his leisure, loading and reloading and murdering helpless victims. What would have been the result if even 1 adult had been carrying a firearm? Think about that.
