A large volcano produces more CO2 than all the automobiles in America. In recent years, we have seen increased volcanic eruptions with no accompanying increase in global temperatures. Ocean beds continuously emit CO2 the world over in volumes that dwarf CO2 creation by human sources. A scintilla of common sense leaves one with the unavoidable conclusion that the small amount of CO2 added to the atmosphere by human activity has an insignificant effect on global temperature and it cannot be legitimately argued otherwise ... except in the sense that one rock thrown in the ocean raises global sea level. Yet, the GW Chicken Littles continue to scream, "The global temperature is rising! The global temperature is rising!"
