Pat, you're a smart, experienced guy but you're way wrong on Korea. War in Korea has always been inevitable. In fact, the Korean War was never ended by Eisenhower, it was merely put on hold. At this point, Mr Kim and his North Korean hardliners need to back down and eat a massive helping of crow, hope that South Korea or the U.S. make a mistake and accidentally shoot something at them, or launch an attack on the South or the U.S. Having been stationed there myself back in the early 80's (during the time of the KAL shoot down by the Russian), I know what it's like to be on high alert at the tip of the spear.
