If that were true, California wouldn't be paying out 13 BIL a year for them. And they wouldn't be broke. More people in CA, and 10 other states as of today, are on public assistance than are contributing through work taxes. The US as a whole, pays out a tad over $300 BIL for just illegals, as education, health, incarceration and social programs. That in itself, is almost 25% of our red ink we are piling on per year.
