You conservatives can whine and stomp your feet about the "unfair" media all you want, but it's pretty clear what's going on in this particular case. No one, inside or outside of PP, is saying it's a good idea to let a 38-week-old baby you just tried, and failed, to abort die of exposure. Kermit Gosnell horror stories aside, if that does happen, it's EXTREMELY rare and would already be punishable under current laws. These kinds of "infant born during failed abortion protection" acts are intended to harass abortion providers, not protect babies. It would be used to go after people who didn't perform medical miracles to save a 15-week-old.
