I have no doubt that there are abuses in our Disability system, just like there are many abuses in the White House and Congress (now that's some real welfare) Personally I was badly wounded in Vietnam in 1968, broken legs, arm, punctured lung, TBI with fracture, blown out eardrum a chronic ringing in both ears, hearing loss, broken clavicle, chronic insomnia, etc. In spite of this I got 2 college degrees and taught school for 32 years, often working on 2 or less hours of sleep. In time the injuries took their toll. I developed extreme high blood pressure and cardiac arrythmias. I was hospitalized 10-15 time a year with life threatening cardiac and BP issues. I was told I needed to spot working. They can reevaluate me anytime.
