"marriage is being redefined" Right. How come all the Conservatives aren't standing outside the county courthouses protesting the thousands of no-fault divorces issued everyday in the US? Marriage is not a "lifelong" commitment in the eyes of the Government. It is a "commitment until one party files suit is a Court of appropriate jurisdiction to terminate all legal ties to the other spouse". THAT'S IT. that is all the Government is allowed to recognize by some of the most important Supreme Court decisions ever written. The Supreme Court has recognized a fundamental right to Marriage, which also means people have the unlimited right to divorce and form *another* Marriage.
