Dear fellow, I urge you and everyone else who cares about the most basic of human rights, to clean up our ways of referring to those rights. The 2nd Amendment did NOT "establish" our right to own state-of-the-art firearms. It ACKNOWLEDGED the simple, immutable fact that this right has ALWAYS existed since the dawn of time! Legitimate individual rights are in fact primordial, prehistoric and definitely, pre-constitutional! We simply must stop referring to or implying that ANY of our rights come from ANY man-made document.
