Mike you only got your statement partially right. Some protestant churches are now in favor of gay marriage. But the Catholic Church, has always stood and will always stand for traditional marriage because it is a sacrament of the Church. It has fought against so-called gay marriage. We love are gay friends, but we do not condone their homosexual behavior, as we don't condone sex outside of marriage. My pastor and many others have been talking about this in their homilies for many months, and we Catholics are standing up for traditional marriage in the media, so I don't know why you included the Catholic Church in your statements.
