The difference between a Right and a Privilege is very narrow i.e. – Generally, a right is something you have by birth (the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness;) and which cannot be taken away from you as a group, while a privilege is something granted to you individually by a Civil authority, and which theoretically can be taken away. In the family, your Father and Mother control your rights and privileges until you can prove to be trusted with both! Your Grandparents are the backup to ensure you understand the rules your Mom and Dad had to live by. (Take away the rules and expectations of parental review...and you see the results in adolescent behavior.) "What you cannot enforce do not command - 497/6BC." — Sophocles
