Some Christians object to Easter as an unholy merger of an unrelated pagan celebration with the central events of Christianity. Many object to the Easter Bunny and the candy holiday associated with him as a corruption of *that* observance. Now the Easter Bunny is too religious? Okay, let's be consistent and purge all official discourse of everything remotely related to religion of any kind. So there'll be no more Tuesday–Saturday; no more Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, or Thanksgiving; no more Los Angeles. . . To the educrats' chagrin, however, there'll be no more Muslim-sensitivity exercises. No more stomping on Jesus, either, for His name won't be allowed within the ivied walls.
